Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Imprisoned Heart has a terrible secret: he loves his best friend Secret Desires, a shy male Red. Imprisoned would love to be able to tell Secret his, well, secret, but it's against his breed's code to be in love with a dragon of the same gender. As such, Imprisoned forced himself to court female dragons. Each time he does, a small bit of his spirit breaks. The only thing that keeps him sane is being around SD. Oh how Imprisoned wished that he wasn't a Royal Blue. Or better yet, that Secret felt the same way. If he did, then it wouldn't matter to Imprisoned what his fellow Royals felt. Imprisoned would know the dragon he so desperately loves loves him back. If only...
