Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

By far the most haughty of the all dragons in the Great Pines. Blighted is even more narcissistic then a Pure-blooded Lumina. She is solely fascinated with herself, not even turning her head to bother looking at another Golden Wyvern. She complains incessantly -to no one in particular- about how she will never find anyone to call her own. Most dragons roll their eyes and walk away. Blighted can never talk about any other problem, even the most important ones such as the oncoming drought escape her realm of consciousness.

Days go by, and soon turn to months. No dragon can convince the two dimensional Blighted that she will never find a male Golden Wyvern with an exact lineage as her own. If she came to this realization, she would see that there are plenty dragons in the Great Pines that would love and treat her like Royalty if she chose one of them as a mate. But Blighted will have her own way, preferring to have a looks over love.
