Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to sleep during the day and glow when it wakes up at night.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This little dragon enjoyed hatchlinghood in the Moonlit Dunes so much that it asked to be allowed to remain a hatchling forever. Despite being a desert with large sandy areas, the Dunes are not completely arid. Various types of flowers and grass grow in abundance, filling the air with a pleasant smell even when no Black Tea Dragon is near. This hatchling often follows the Black Tea Dragons, in order to play with the butterflies they attract. But its favourite game is sneaking into the glass caves of the Spitfires at night; of course the main fun in this is that it is completely forbidden.
