Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

At the tender age of a hundred and thirteen this dragon discovered what the humans had dubbed "parties" and was instantly smitten. About the only shocking thing about this was that, considering who his parents were, he hadn't discovered it at the even more tender age of thirteen instead! Now an absolute addict, he leaves illegitimate eggs left and right, has completely lost track of all his last Friday night memories, and can moonwalk better than anyone else in the entire country. While much of the world shakes their head at such behavior, in at least one respect he's better off than some; his parents were all too delighted to find out their son had embraced their ways, and the family's now more loving and mischievous with each other than are many friends!
