Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In a small forest just south of a village lives a female Terrae Dragon. She is a pale green with a dark green misted back, two antlers, plus a small leaf on the tip of her bulky tail. Her claws scratch trees soft enough not to harm the tree as she marks her territory. Some terrae dragons eat tree tops, Breaken likes bushes. Clumsy, as most large dragons are, Breaking practices balancing herself so often she's become quite swift and rarely trips over her paws. Since every terrea dragon owns their own territory not even mates share land, they come for visits or each other's boarders, Breaken is quite fond of the idea, for she owns double that of her mate.
