Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is so full of energy that you have a hard time keeping up with it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Diliptus lives in a lush forest. His favorite foods are grasshoppers and moths. Racing the wind, the deer, the moose and the occasional eagle are his favorite pass-times. The rivers are a GREAT source of cold and fun on hot summer days. Fish always make Diliptus laugh cause of their funny accent. At winter Diliptus will have snowball fights with the weasels, badgers, skunks and porcupines and during the cold, starry nights, he will huddle up with his animal friends under a hallow tree stump. When spring comes and the bears wake up, they will play-fight together until the day ends. However, Diliptus' most favorite animal is the rabbits for their wits, cunningness, laughter and speed. He never was that fond of wolfs though, even if some are his close friends.
