Bright-Breasted Wyverns are a breed of dragon easily recognized by their bright red markings. They are a small breed, only the size of a full-grown man. However, they have developed poisonous barbs on their feet to make up for their size. Their coloration is used to warn off potential predators of the danger, and is also used to attract mates. They are very social, and can often be seen preening in large groups.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pesanel lives in a forests and jungles but can live anywhere if he wanted to. He was friendly to a point, but not afraid to stand up for himself. He visited many of the jungle dragons in a season but mostly kept to himself.

In this forest he was traveling in he had heard rumors of a creature called Yivan who watched over the forest and was far more powerful than any dragon. He went to search for Yivan.

He saw the large creature made of what looked like wood. He had moss for hair all over his body except for his large face. His figure was very round with branch like structures protruding from his body. Yivan was known to be a friendly being. He was very old and wise and some considered him to be immortal.

He spoke with Yivan in dragon tongue and they talked about things that could possibly happen. This made him think of many things he would not have thought of before. Pesanel remembered this encounter but told no one.
