Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Akeriana had begun a peaceful nap in her cave. She growled as a hatchling approached her. It asked her of her mood and why she was staying in, with the jolly Christmas atmosphere outside. "Too jolly!" she spat, unaware of an eavesdropping magi. The scared hatchling ran, looking back only once to see the sleeping Snow Angel.

In the morning, Akeriana awoke to the snowy outside world. "Who did this!" she screeched. "It was I." The magi said. "Look around, at the hatchlings playing in the snow, the pygmies with their carols, and your wings!" The magi gestured to her golden wings. "Before, they were dull and brown." The snow angel turned every which way, sunlight reflecting beautifully off of the golden wings. She asked why they were so pretty now. "Holiday cheer all around. The shininess comes from the joy that comes with Christmas!" She was at a loss for words. "Thank you!" She shouted, flying off to show her shiny wings to the world. "I'll never again forget what Christmas can do!"
