Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Defree is a giving dragon. He would do anything to help his Beloved The Pink Silver Rose. Before he was with her he didn't understand life. It destroyed him so much that he stopped caring about it. He let humans capture him and let them rip his scales off. The humans loved his scales and they sold them as jewelry, furniture and even as dresses! One day the humans took so many scales that Defree collapsed. The humans had no love for him, so they abandoned him. He woke up in a cornfield. A few minutes later, a beautiful silver dragon came into the fields. A gray dragon came out of no where and started screaming at her. Defree knew it was none of his business but he was mad. "I can fly you out of here if you want," Defree whispered after the mean gray dragon left. A tear came out of the silver dragon's eye. "Yes, I would love to," she said in the middle of her sniffles.  They are together now and have many hatchlings.  Now Defree understands the meaning of life.  To enjoy it.
