Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Eternally Bumping My Nose is an unfortunately clumsy hatchling, even more so than the others. Even though she has the mentality of an adult, she simply cannot make her limbs work as she wants them to! As such she became an inventor in order to create something to keep herself from bumping into things. She isolated herself from the rest of her Thunder to commit herself entirely to her inventions. She builds and she tweaks and yet. Everything. Fails. It's completely hopeless and the future is looking only more bleak. As she runs out of options to try her inventions become less and less effective. Currently she walks around with fluff, stolen off of Pillow Dragons, stuck all over her body. The growing hatchlings think she is an odd creature of myth since you cannot tell she is a white hatchling under all the fluff.
