As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

The Azure Operator is often overlooked. Smaller than most dragons, barely the size of a small bat, he's swept away in the crowd, hiding in the corners of caves with the dust and pebbles. He doesn't mind it that much. This simply serves his purpose.

Knowledge is power. Simply by hanging from the rafters, simply by being there, hidden from view, he can gather information without any being taken from himself. It really was quite easy, even with his bright, blue-striped wings, to find out secrets he wouldn't have been able to find if he was any larger.

The Operator has secrets of his own, of course, but it's nothing he would want anybody else to know. A few guilty thoughts here and there, a few terrible pasts. And being who he is, he's very good at making sure people don't know things he doesn't want them to know.
