Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Despite the blood-thirsty nature of both of her parents, Rose actually disdains those who use violence as a first resort, preferring to overcome her enemies with her mental prowess rather than brute force. However, this cold, contemptuous attitude is really a mask for her true, shy nature. She assumes the facade out of the belief that appearing strong is the only way to survive. But whenever she is alone, and can act without the world judging her every movement, she enjoys nothing more than tending and caring for the flowers that give her her name and other blossoming plants.
