Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Iron Lotus was a foundling, a glowing egg left abandoned by his parents' keeper.  He was raised in an area already populated by Silver dragons, and despite hearing stories of how he was found as an egg, he has always felt that he is exactly where he belongs.  Though once in a great while he feels a desire to meet his parents, he is happy in his adopted family and looks up to Aisling as the mother he should have had.  He also loves his keeper very deeply, and his gratitude towards her for raising him makes him a loyal and helpful addition to her flock.
