Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

"Cheesy" is a very special Cheese Dragon. Thought of as a male by all dragons (including himself), he is unusually cunning, and though he does not need to eat, he will often participate in hunts just for the fun of it, and will give whatever he catches to the other dragons.
