Rosebud Dragons are a fun and social breed found most often in the spring. The petal-like feathers that grow on their sides spread their sweet and floral scent. Although they have poor eyesight, they have ribbon-like extensions that extend their olfactory abilities to help create a map of the area around them. When flying, Rosebud dragons tend to hover, using their wings to fan their scent throughout the air. A widespread breed, they go to great effort to visit as many flowery fields as possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Petalscale is a member of the Feline clan. She, as well as her sister Rosefang, doesn't actually do much for the clan as far as provision, but she is a very kind, amiable dragon and loves all of her clanmates, especially the young hatchlings with whom she spends a great deal of time telling stories to. She claims to know each and every one of them by feel alone, since her eyesight makes her practically blind. She is a nectivore, meaning she only drinks nectar from flowers for food, much like hummingbirds do.

Petalscale is an average Rosebud dragon. Her ribbon-like feelers are exceptionally broad and thick unlike her sister Rosefang. That is the only way to tell the two female Rosebud dragons apart since they both seem identical in every other way.
