Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon has an odd quirk—he likes to play with ducks. Not things the ducks like to do, but doing things involving ducks.

He trapped a duck in a church bell tower, so that it rang the church bells until someone let it out.

He used clothespins to hang a duck by its wings to a laundry line.

He tied ducks to his feet to keep his claws warm.

Generally, whenever a duck is found on top of something it normally would not be, such as a tree, a cow, or a house, it is likely this dragon put it there.
