This breed of dragon was thought to exist only in legend. Although their name varies between cultures, they are often referred to as “Guardians of Nature.” They are able to channel the forces of fire, ice and lightning, which allows them to wield tremendous power. Seen very rarely, it is thought that they only become active when something is threatening the territory they have chosen to guard. In order to protect their chosen home, these dragons are incredibly adaptable; they have been seen everywhere from remote mountain ranges, to ancient forests, to the darkest depths of the ocean.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Iolite Symphony is the more lonesome of the three Guardian of Natures under Tsuko's care. He cares not for the trifles and grievances his brother and sister share with the world. Taking on the more solitary lifestyle of a wanderer, Iolite Symphony passes through realms many wouldn't dare to tread. He passes by friend and foe without a care to them or himself. To him those living in the worlds he travels through are nothing but sanctimonious creatures digging up and scarring the lands. Iolite Symphony thinks the world his sole friend, lover, and caretaker; therefore, he focuses on surviving it rather than conquer it. Iolite Symphony's hide became as radiant as the sun and the mana pouring from him allowed the earth beneath him to become ageless. Whole forests, rich jungles, and oceans filled with life are left behind in his wake. With every step and breath Iolite Symphony takes, he believes the world takes one alongside him. He truly feels one with the earth.
