Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Toks'sjon is pretty much no different from her kind. She hates violence, and always throws others off when she sees it. Despite her hatred for it, she cannot stop herself from viewing it. Whenever some dragons are fighting, Toks'sjon is so disturbed and confused from it that she will just stand there in horror. Afterwards, she retorts to the fighters when their battle is over. Another strange thing about her is that she is awkwardly attracted to the Ember Dragon Karanak, who is now her mate. When they had their first egg, one of Toks'sjon's kind, they both fell madly in love. Perhaps they were both attracted to their shiny hides. The last strange thing about this dragon is that she rarely uses English when she speaks, and tends to use telepathy in Latin a lot.
