Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Though scary and intimidating at first, Lord Thatanor II is actually a quite civilized warrior, though he is ruthless and merciless in battle. He is equally cunning and intelligent as he is strong and powerful, and he is one of his clan's warriors, not to mention an excellent battle leader. However, he does have one weakness: He finds it hard to fight more than a few dragons at once, and he is often outnumbered.
