Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tiamat was named after an ancient dragon goddess. With five heads, each with its own personality, that dragon goddess was utterly insane and evil and in the end was brought down by an alliance of draconic heroes who slayed all her heads simultaneously. Freed from her insanity through that act of bravery, Tiamat the goddess finally found peace and watches over dragonkind from the night sky ever since.

Tiamat the dragoness always saw her name as a call to help out other dragons—especially those with illnesses of the soul and psychoses—to find their own peace. She often works together with Soulpeaces and Whites to ease the burden of dragons suffering from mental diseases, caring for them with love and tenderness. But if she's confronted with a case that is beyond hope, a dragon to whom life itself holds nothing but suffering, Tiamat has the strength to do what others can not and free them from this plane of existence. It's a terrible burden yet Tiamat knows it needs to be done.
