Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Puzzles was so named for his incredible abilities at solving puzzles. He loves to challenge people to puzzle games, where both parties will be given the same puzzle to solve. The first to solve their puzzle is the winner. He has never lost, except once against a Blusang named Yami.

Due to a failed magical potion, Puzzles was frozen as a child and can never grow older. He doesn't really care, as it only makes him a cute magnet for all the unsuspecting humans that live in the village near his home.
