Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Terrafin is named for the ground she so enjoys moving.  She has a spectacular ability to move stones and large boulders, but so far has not been interested in doing so for any human's needs. Her keeper has hopes that Terrafin will one day decide to help in moving the cave's Stone Dragon, Speedy, out of the way when he chooses an inconvenient resting place. So far, Tarrafin has found this a laughable pursuit. She is a willing breeder, and has proven a fair surrogate for little Terrafini.
