Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Her name due to hours of constant twitchy activity and minor light catnaps, Sleepless Clarity makes the perfect jailor for her father. Following an appeal made by Mercy, RavenRyy constructed a massive prison for invaders who surrender. Other dragons take turns as guards, but Clarity was given the role of warden.

She seems insane, but performs her duties correctly. No one has escaped her. She never makes small talk, and often gives bizarre responses when another tries to interact with her.

She eats very little, but is known to slowly eat any who disobey her. She is happy enough where she is. The closest she has to friends are Spider Root and Mercy. They understand her and aren't unnerved by her madness.

She waits perched on her tower, rarely moving and never blinking. Her cry can be heard throughout the surrounding land and bring her kin in moments.
