Fire Gem Dragons are a colorful, flamboyant breed often found in hot climates, particularly around active volcanoes. Their broad tails store the flames they breathe, which are colored by the heavy amount of minerals in the water they drink. These dragons come in a variety of colors, and will collect shiny trinkets and stones that match their own coloration. Despite their hoarding tendencies, though, Fire Gem dragons are social and will often congregate in groups and show off their collections while fawning over the stones their friends and rivals have gathered, occasionally arranging trades.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cryptanite is the geologist of the Void realm. She constantly grabs rocks from the ground and adds them to her hoard of "Grand Specimens", as well as admires, studies them for great use of either medicines or the ever expanding museum Of The Ancients.

She usually keeps to herself and her studies. However when Bloomaroo is around, she suddenly becomes more talkative and sometimes, she only talks about her rocks.

Cryptanite usually scours through old abandoned caves to find rarer finds, such as gemstones and geodes. Her scales usually light the way through the darkened twists and turns only getting brighter the deeper she gose.

Since her scales have this property, it adds some weight to them so she is an extremely clunky flyer. She consenpates with walking to her destinations which she doesn't mind because it usually allows her to find some stones on her way.

She hardly ever sleeps because of her studies on stones curing diseases. However Bloomaroo always insists she gets a break.
