Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to bear some semblance to a horse.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Flashing Fur is a quiet dragon, often keeping to herself near the nests and seemingly regretting her wingless state. She has been observed watching older dragons in flight and mimicking their takeoff routine, and is frequently found nosing at the current clutches of eggs. Seeming to be a rather peaceful dragon, there is no record of this dragon ever instigating a fight, though she has been attacked by larger hatchlings a handful of times. Despite being permanently young, Flashing Fur is incredibly fast and generally uses this ability to escape signs of danger. She also appears to be rather intelligent despite lack of development, and will use natural surroundings to entertain herself rather than interact with the other dragons.
