Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is rather pale in color and likes to sleep while balancing on one leg.

And look! It has grown wings and a large head crest! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This dragon is always called "The Name Holder". It seems to be unable to recall any name given to it for more than a few months, and will eventually revert to its original title. DSL has searched through her notes, discovering an error during the time-freezing process that made this dragon forever young. It doesn't matter, as no other memories seem to be affected by this tragic error.
