Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Different from his daughter and Nikita, Woodrow is an unusual Bluna male. He prefers only little company instead of large gatherings so he often just stays far from the shallow water and sticks close to Neptune and Charybdis who are solemn thinking dragons. Woodrow's behavior is quite odd and a contrast to Stellaluna's friendly nature. The reason that almost everyone goes with is that he had a bad encounter as a hatchling, and because of that, he can't trust other dragons easily, especially ones who are too energetic for his tastes. Woodrow dotes on his daughter and is a fatherly figure to little Yojana and the three can sometimes be seen playing with Petri or resting in a pile.
