Harvest Dragons are a large, flightless breed most often found in heavily forested mountains. Normally shy, these omnivorous dragons keep to themselves in remote regions, but in the fall they descend from their high territory to search for food—and lots of it. During the autumn months, harvest dragons will eat whatever they can find, from large and small animals to nuts and fruit. In the winter they retreat into large caves and hibernate until spring, living off the fat they have built up.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

HarvestDecay is a very busy Harvest Dragon. He takes care of his mate, SecretMastersOfFandom, who has Disosociative Identity Disorder (also called Multiple Personality Disorder), and has three different identities, Secret, Master, and Fandom. HarvestDecay is the mate of all three of them, and does different things with each of them. The thing he most likes to do with Secret is just to mentally converse with her. HarvestDecay and Secret have tons in common, and they can stay up all night just talking. His favorite thing to do with Fandom is hunt, they both love to work together and take down a large elk or even a moose. HarvestDecay and Fandom also like to play Dragon Dice, because the two are very playful. HarvestDecay's and Master's favorite activity is swimming. The other two don't care to play in the water, Fandom is terrified of water and Secret doesn't like to get wet. But Master loves to swim in the ocean, and HarvestDecay feels the same way.
