Carmine Wyverns are active predators found most commonly in tropical regions. They have a poor sense of smell and are primarily dependent on sight and sound to hunt. These dragons are lightweight and quick, and tend to flee from rivals rather than attempt to fight. When a confrontation does occur it usually involves large amounts of posturing and displaying to make the wyverns appear larger and stronger than their opponents, and one will often surrender and leave without a fight ever actually occurring. They are dedicated parents and usually mate for life, though the degree of loyalty to a partner varies between individuals and within individual pairings.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Carmine Wyverns are known for their bluffing and posturing, but Bicermar has a fairly unique variation of the matter. Since he was raised without other Carmine parents, he had no idea how to actually maneuver for the posturing. As such when he is confronted for "combat", he proceeds to twist, flex, contort, bend, and otherwise shift his body in some of the most ridiculous poses known to either man or dragon. Several witnesses have related the positions to "if a brain were to rapidly switch between activating all nerves and then none at all." Some dragons believe that this is the cause of some illness, and so refuse to attack him for fear of contracting whatever he is afflicted by. Bicermar, however, thinks that is them saving face and continues to develop even more "terrifying poses" to frighten all predators from him.
To relax, he loves telling stories to humans of dragons he's "bravely faced and terrified from his nest." Though the adults know the truth, the children love the fables.
