Blacktip Dragons are a small, shore-dwelling breed that tend to nest on sheer ocean side cliffs. They live in groups under a dominant female, who prevents her subordinates from breeding. During the mating season, a group of Blacktips can be very noisy and smelly indeed; males produce a distinctive musky odor and loud, low-pitched honking noises in an attempt to woo the alpha female.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon spends her days staring out into the sea from her cliffside cave. She seems perfectly content to look out at the horizon of the ocean, and never bothers anyone...usually. But the dragons who live along the southern coast of her clan's territory know that every once in a while, she has fits of agitation and panic where she flies around to their homes, screeching of "narwhals". What exactly these "narwhals" are she is always too frenzied to say, but from her agitation, the dragons presume narwhals to be massive beasts with razor sharp teeth and an appetite for dragon blood. Narwhals appear only during storms, as she only enters these fits in the middle of pouring, torrential rain and blinding flashes of lightning, and seem to go away after the storm recedes. The dragons also note that narwhals seem to be blamed by her for all the pranks and stolen things around the area, without actually even being there. In fact, some suspect the "narwhal" to be this mischievous dragon.
