When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Everglade is the type of dragon that loves to explore. She's been almost every where in the world. Her big dream is to find the Everglades, so she will see what she's named after. She is usually is a very bad mood, but can have a little spark of sunshine here and there. When she does, she usually does stuff like hunt for the other dragons, clean them, and entertain the males. Everglade devotes herself to never fall in love so she can keep exploring and not be held back her love. No male dragon has tripped her up and made her fall in love, and vice versa. By the looks of it, it seems like she's going to keep her promise.
