Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Altar is a very patient, quiet green dragon... for the most part. She does not like to be bothered when meditating, and she has no patience for hatchlings. Her tendency to cause minor earthquakes when annoyed has caused the local young dragons to only poke and climb on her even more, though, just so they can see the rockslides her agitation results in.
