Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Apollo Dawn is a young Sunrise dragon. He is very popular in his clan, as he is friendly, funny, social, and simply fun to be around. He is easily the most adventurous in his clan, and he and his best friend, Antares, often go on quests to find hidden treasure in abandoned caves, to steal a Legendary Dragon egg, and to break into abandoned buildings in Drakeville in hopes of finding something of value. He generally tries not to show any signs of weakness, like when he broke a wing and wouldn't tell anyone, because he's afraid of being made fun of, like he was as a hatchling. He isn't afraid of humans, or at least would never show it if he was. He currently has no specified mate.
