Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Teleros is an immense dragon the color of granite and has ruby red eyes. His wings are very large, but he has never been seen flying. In fact, Teleros prefers to stand very still for most of the day. When he does move, he is very slow and ponderous. His only sustenence is the rocks outside the cave. Teleros is very slow in everything; his speech is often drawn out, and he often takes a long time to complete something. However, Teleros is a gentle giant and often lets the hatchlings clamber over his back while he lies still in the cave. His favorite pastime seems to be sleeping, as it is all any dragon has ever really seen him do. Although he may appear lazy and uninterested, Teleros is often listening in on every conversation in the cave and may make a comment or two while eavesdropping. He is not often threatened because of his bulk and his unwillingness to fight, but if attacked, Teleros uses his rock-like skin to protect himself and his immense tail to lash back at the opponent.
