Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Striped may look delicate and fragile, but don't let that fool you. She's anything but a pushover. Striped has so much intelligence about her that she baffles even the smartest dragon in the cave, she can find a solution to almost any problem. Stripe's also a rather skilled fighter, darting in, attacking her enemy with razor-sharp claws and teeth, and darting away before they even have a chance to find out what hit them. For all her skills, however, Stripe's unusually quiet and patient for her personality. Despite her fighting skills and cunning nature, she's been assigned to the role of hatchling caretaker, since she seems to be about the only dragon that can actually talk some sense into their tiny little brains.
