Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Nightstalker hunts only at night. She loves the night. It is cooler than the day, although it is sometimes freezing. During the day, she is immobile. None can notice her for, she flies to the closest patch of trees or her home if possible. She hates submitting to the curse of her kind and she sometimes grieves over it. Mating during the mating season has to happen extremely early in the morning or really late in the afternoon. Sometimes, other dragons have to force themselves to keep awake long enough to mate for, Nocturnals cannot move or even hope to move during the day. But the night is still loved by the Nocturnes. They love the softened sky, free of the sun's harsh rays. The stars cast the light that Royal Blues love so much. The stars and the moon make the patterns that Nebulas love to copy on to their patterned wings. Nightstalker can never understand why she and those she leads love the night so much.
