Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

It was a miracle that Hamun maintained her status as a third-born of the clan when Nettraphim hatched almost at the same moment as she did. As the consequence, Hamun identified Nettraphim as her arch-rival ever since her childhood and strove to beat Nettraphim no matter what. The hatred only grew as she matured into an adult, and now, as the powerful daughter of the Gray species, Hamun will hunt down Nettraphim whenever the Breeder, Atreiu, or Bellodia aren't around. She attacks to kill; she is considered the most belligerent of the clan and is marked as the leader of the troublemakers, The Warriors, by The Elders (Atreiu and Bellodia). Practically nobody can tell her what to do except for the the select trio of The Elders and the Breeder; with her power and short temper, Hamun is the last member on the clan for anyone to mess with.
