Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Bianca absolutely cannot stand the sun, claiming that it burns her delicate hide and makes her eyes hurt from squinting. Her den is located in a dense coniferous forest at the base of the mountains, where the towering pines block most of the light. She is a peaceful dragon who enjoys morning strolls through the trees, but makes quite a dramatic scene of avoiding any patches of sunlight that block her path. The trail that she walks is popular with the humans who plan on hiking up to the mountains, but many do not make it to their next sunrise. After dusk falls on the forest, Bianca loves scaring them to their wit's end by rustling leaves and peering at them through the trees, before finally striking when she's had enough fun. Most feel that her antics are dramatic and unnecessary, but those dragons who live in the mountains are grateful that she keeps the humans from reaching their homes and their young.
