Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon has inherited her spitfire father's ability to make glass, but she uses it for quite a different purpose than does he. Finding few things more lovely than the sound of shattering glass, she gleefully creates globes of the material only to smash them, squealing at the lovely lacework of cracks and the sweet sound of cracking spheres. While her play can leave some very nasty pieces of fractured glass lying about, she's quite diligent about cleaning up her mess afterwards, often recombining the pieces into abstract sculptures.
