Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
This dragon has no real name, as "Northern Blue of the Ember Tide" is simply the title of a legend that has resulted from this dragon's behavior. The "ember tide" aspect of this name is the result of over thirty human witnesses witnessing a fight between this dragon and her father, who is also her grandfather. It was over a quarrel about who she bred with, as against her father's wishes she bred with someone other than him and produced an egg of another bloodline. This resulted in a heated fight in which many of the ember scales of his body dissipated in the ocean, and also involved the other dragon she was seeing, a Tsunami Dragon. That dragon, in response, whipped up a large tide which went against her and her father, with origins in the north direction on a cardinal compass. Which is how she gained the name "Northern Blue of the Ember Tide."
