Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Demnarium is joker, a flirt, and a show-off. He is basically the comedian of the family and is considered the absolute expert at flying and outmanoeuvring when compared to the others in his family of mixed and usually non-related dragons. Demnarium likes to come up with new tricks and techniques for flight, and tends to show them off as soon as he's perfected them. Though, like everyone else, Demnarium has his flaws. For instance, he tends to flirt with a lot of female dragons. He'll sometimes try to sweet-talk some of the females in his 'family', but even though he's usually kidding around he tries to be subtle as not to anger any of them. With most of the dragons he meets, he'll try to either use his 'charm' to make a good first impression or say a few jokes; it usually depends on whether it's a male or female he's talking to. When he flirts, he's never truly serious, since Hyzenlay already caught his attention. She doesn't notice him though since she's too busy daydreaming.
