Mundus Cantormaris Dragons are a gentle, friendly breed of coastal-dwellers. Their annual migrations at the start of spring are among the first indications that winter has ended. They use their beautiful calls to lure people with a desire for peace to them in an attempt to make lasting friendships. It is considered a sign of good luck for one to hear their calls.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mundus is a kind, benevolent, and all around pleasant Cantormaris. He drifts through the sky each summer, parading with the turning of the season. He has a mystic quality to him. His signature calls are especially melodic for his breed and his zen attitude gives him a uniquely ethereal vibe. However, despite his calm, peaceful nature, Mundus is also notorious for his rivalry with his brother in-law, Macaw. Both are mated to members of the famous Zyuranger clan. This group of dragons travel the world to fight evil. They have gained a reputation as bonafide superheroes, so their mates tend to get a status boost. Obviously, Mundus has never been the kind of dragon to flaunt such status, but Macaw is. Whenever the two come across each other, be prepared for a fight. The both are known to argue for hours, particularly over which mate is the strongest leader. Macaw is mated to Tommy, while Mundus is with Jason. Both constantly fight over leadership, and that extends to their mates.
