Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Niamh the Serene was not named by the human that raised her, but by the same friend who named her nest-mate Agyo. As one of the first four of her clan, she is looked up to as an Elder and has helped to raise many a swaggering hatchling to adulthood. Though ever calm, she is a determined, single-minded creature, and it is through her work and leadership that the clan's caverns have been expanded to hold their now-large group.
