Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mitne has been declared a fall risk. She trips over the smallest of things, from a pebble on the ground to other dragons! When she trips, others knows it almost instantly because the ground shakes as if an earthquake has struck. The elders wish she would stick closer to the cave and let others bring her food, but she insists on going out everyday to gather food for herself. It's not that the other dragons wouldn't be happy to bring her food, no. Mitne is a very sweet, kind dragon, and they would happily bring her food so she wouldn't have to trip all over the place, but Mitne is persistent. Even so, she winds up hurting herself in one way or another each time she steps outside.
