Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Isaac is an unusual Two-Finned Bluna. Instead of being an outgoing, playful creature, he's practically an introvert. He's quiet, reclusive, and very low-energy. He views everything with a scientific gaze (except Xana and his fellow Blunas), and can usually be found watching the goings on in the big blue sea, but almost never participating.

When he's not observing the world around him, Isaac swims to the Flaming Abyss (so named for the heat-spouts that have appeared there) and attempts to coax Xana up to the surface.

He's usually unsuccessful, but Isaac's convinced the Deep-Sea dragon to leave the Abyss a few times.
