Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shinningstar and the other Royal Blue Dragons in MountainClan live right next to a lake. At night, she watches the stars with her mate, Darkstar, who loves her and protects her. Shinningstar is a kind and gentle dragon. She loves to play with hatchlings and is hoping for a hatchling of her own very soon.
