Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Metal is a very passive and calming dragon, despite her young age. She is very clever, and enjoys playing practical jokes on other dragons. Metal's mellow influence prevents other dragons from getting angry or picking fights with her, giving her a good standing in the clan. However, she is incredibly vain, nearly as much as Milkshake is. Because of this, the two get along marvelously.

This friendly dragon prefers being underground or in a cave whenever possible, and adores gems, minerals, and crystals.

She loves chasing after and hunting small animals, her favorite being squirrels. Metal has lots of friends, a fact that appeals greatly to her large ego.
