Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Amonkira is positively ancient, his prized hoard containing weapons that haven't been in use for centuries, his hide covered with scars from a lifetime of fighting. Yet despite this, his silvery crest of horns remains intact (though slightly nicked in a few places), and he is as strong as ever, even rising to become leader of the flock he was hatched into. Like many Flamingos, Amonkira does not simply charge in to a hunt, rather, he stays back and plans until just the right moment. Through the years, he's become adept at silent stalking on land, and has even learned to swim and barely disturb the water. For this, a number of coastal villages in his flock's territory have come to call him the 'Lord of Hunters', mimicking his strategies as best as they can. Amonkira tolerates them, so long as they remember to provide him with proper tribute. If they forget, he will terrorize the village, ensuring they remember who was there first, and whose land it is.
