As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Empereon is normally a shy, solitary girl. But gain her trust and look behind that to find a loyal dragon 'til the end! Tornadous, that fierce beast found this in her, and Empereon guards him in his frozen state. In the evenings the two rule the night skies. Unfortunately they cannot breed together. Oh well, a few friends can't hurt.

They have been inseparable ever since they were eggs and were even taken in after being abandoned on the same day!
