Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Quo Vadis was born from one of the last eggs of a dragon species slowing going extinct. Rumors of disease and infertility circulated as less and less and finally no more Frill Dragons were born. Quo Vadis was the very last Frill to be brought into the Anu Clan, and as such, he was cherished. Quo Vadis is exceptionally quiet and serious, born from the fact that he knew there was something different about him. Unlike other Frills, he is quick to lash out. He is more hot tempered and defensive than most. The clans twelve other Frills mean everything to him. He would give his life to prevent anything from happening to them, because he knows that the sorrow would be the death of his 'mother', Neverland. In mourning, it was her, the clans eldest female Frill, who named him Quo Vadis. Roughly translated, it means: where are you going. It is an apt name indeed. Every day Quo Vadis and Neverland hope in vain that the clan will find another Frill, and they wonder where the Frills are going.
